It’s an important day. Google+ launches Pages for commercial purposes. When creating a page, Google asks you to classify it into one of these five categories: local business, product/brand, company/institution/organization, art/leisure/sports or other. When you choose ‘local business’ you get a number of extra functions. The page is then linked to a physical address and shows a Google Maps location, telephone number and opening hours.
